Happy New Year to all! It has been a blessed and fruitful year. First off, I would like to thank God for all I have, for all He has given me, and most of all - the blessings.  True blessings in my life – the things that has touched me to the deepest. My Family – I am grateful for having a great family. I am thankful for their love and support. It’s our first new year that we’re not complete, for the reason that my sister is in Dubai. Though my sister is far away from home, she’s near to our hearts.  I am thankful for the friendship . I have plenty of acquaintances this year, I’m so glad to share with them who I am and thanking them of course for accepting me in every respect. Yay! It's Christmas time! It's my most awaited time of the year. Personally, I'm so happy and bless this year. God has given me countless blessings and I on the other hand thankful to HIM. Speaking of Christmas, everybody wants something – a sort of wish. It's traditional that during this season we wanted to have something. It might be something that we are looking forward to have. Yesterday, we just had our Christmas Party at Balan Beach Resort, Opol. I received a gift from my office-mate Janice. I’m gratified that she gives me something that I can use in the office – actually, I put it on my wish list so she has an idea what to give me. I was thinking of my wish list this year aside from the tumbler – Janice gift. I was thinking of this song. I could never ask more from God but to protect and guide all my loved ones and family. "You only live once, so why not die with style?" The other day , I watched this movie The Bucket List , stars Jack Nicholson as Edward and Morgan Freeman as Carter. I admire both actors for playing their characters well. The story is about two sick men - they have cancer- escapes from the hospital to fulfill their Bucket List before they die. They set off for a world tour that includes the South of France, South Africa, the Pyramids, the Taj Mahal in India, the Great Wall of China, the Himalayas and Hong Kong. Both of them were having fun and became best buds and finally found joy in each life.  Striking Words... Carter Chambers : Have you found joy in your life? Yesterday with my office friends, we talked about name meanings. Without a doubt I searched google  about the meaning of my name - haha! - walang magawa sa buhay. SEOQUAKE is a Mozilla Firefox add-on which is essential tool for SEO related work. For me, this tool is very important on my work. I have to work with the parameters in order to evaluate some sites.  Sometimes this tool is really disturbing, for some reasons, the Team Quake is keep on updating latest versions and it must be as well compatible on your Firefox version. This time my Firefox is version 3.6.8 and I don't want to update latest version, I prefer this version - since it's compatible to all my important add-ons - now my quake is version 2.6.6, and so far this is the latest version. They have the new SeoQuake for Google Chrome browsers - good news for chrome browser users.  Now sometimes when I load  a certain site to the browser, loading the site is taking too much time because of some parameters. The past few days, a very shocking and terribly news was announced. I'm so worried and super sad. It was something I never expected, I was alarmed. It occurred to me that this is something not to take for granted. Sadly, the company is facing a storm. I know the nature of my work and I know it's not stable. I am now aware of things like lay off and termination. But I'm blessed that I was retained. It was not easy, I was thinking about it the whole time. I have a good feeling though that I will stay for awhile, but it's a not a reason for me to celebrate.  Some of the people I knew was at the moment of panic and discomfort. If only I have the power to change the situation, I would do it, but sad to say I can't do anything to reverse it. It was meant to happen, it was a call.
