Fine and Dandy

Yesterday was Earth Day, I just found out from Ms. Annaposa’s blog. I’m really impressed on how she conveys her message on her blog, the way she puts her thoughts into words. Anyway, this is not my entry to Nuffnang contest but this is my thoughts which I’m trying to put into words.  Who loves Earth?! Well, of course I do love Earth; it’s a wonderful place to live.  But the question is why are we destroying it? Now the Earth is like changing rapidly, the weather, the environment, almost everything! Global Warming took its toll because of what we did in our planet. Today is Palm Sunday! It's a moveable feast for Christian worshiper which is held before the Easter Sunday.  I went to church today and it was most likely the second time I went to church alone. Outside the cathedral, busy children are making different designs of palm branches and they would usually sell it cheap. I bought one from a little girl, the design was a cross with a rose behind it, she even praised my outfit, she said, "nice keu imung gisuot te"(your outfit looks good on you). I was shocked she told me that but I just told her "nah! dili man"(i don't think so) hehe. I remembered back then when I used to make different designs of palm branches with my cousin, it was a mess and my cousin used to correct all my works haha! We have to make our own since it was better and more personalized ika nga. But I didn't get the picture why we celebrate Palm Sunday. I mean, what's the significance of this day? The impossible dream - I don't know why impossible when the truth it is really possible. When I saw for the first time the volkswagen beetle car, I fell in-love! It was like seeing it for the first time you know you're meant to be - hehe' joke lang. But honestly everytime I see that car I can't just take my eyes off. I have this dream that someday I'm gonna buy one, am I that too materialistic? Some things are true whether you believe 'em or not I know it's kinda late but I admit,  it was my first time to watch City of Angels. funny ba? Well, cliche "better late than never". Many men would say that they don't like chick flick, oh well it's understandable naman and  I know that most of the women doesn't like a tragic love story, hmmm..agree? As for me, well I admit that it breaks my heart  knowing that it's not a happy ending in which  I am looking forward to.
