Wikipedia , Wordpress and other sites are black-out today and it is all because of these two bills. Protect IP Act (PIPA) and Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is the fuss around social media today. If you visit twitter, Stop SOPA and PIPA is trending already worldwide. Even Google has it on their homepage that states Tell Congress: Please don’t censor the web! asking to sign a petition to the Congress. What exactly are these bills, PIPA and SOPA? How it can affect a typical user or anyone who uses the internet. See the video below.  This article from Gizmodo helped me a lot to understand these two bills also. Last Friday, I couldn't imagine that this tragedy would happen here in our place. Friday, December 17, 2011, a storm named Sendong washed out all the people's houses here in the city where I lived for almost 5 years. It was disheartening; I saw dead bodies of people and children on the street. I couldn't believe that in that moment while I was sleeping, other people were at the top of their houses, screaming for help, it was so dark, there was no electricity, everybody was busy saving their own lives. It was just 5 hours of heavy rain and there are hundreds of people found dead even hundreds are missing till now. The City is now in the state of calamity.
