Vintage Blogger Crushes

I have been a huge fan on vintage outfits (i don't know why?), I'm such an old soul. While looking for outfit icons, I've found these amazing and lovely women who knock-out their outfit each day. Ever since then, I have followed and read their blogs whenever I can and just look at their vintage outfits. I would love to be one of them. I wanted to be a vintage lover like them, vintage with a touch of fresh modern style. I have been looking for more vintage outfits on thrift shop here in our place, I've found a lot! I actually bought three vintage dresses from a thrift shop and made slight modifications to it. I actually wore the two vintage dresses already but I'm too shy to post my outfit here hehe, maybe next time.

Annika Victoria from . Who wouldn't love her? I mean, she's super smart and talented. She even sew her own dresses, she's brilliant! Below are some outfits that I love. You can visit her blog or her lookbook account.

Steffy Kuncman from . She's practically the best vintage fashion blogger I look up to. I visit her blog and her lookbook for outfit inspirations. She had this smart casual chic look, which is pretty good to wear at work. She is awesomeness!! Her outfits were colorful and it's super cute, lovely and dandy. I love most of her outfit, but I have selected a few to place here. She recently got married, best wishes to her!

The Clothes Horse - She's also a vintage blogger. I found her on Modlcoth Blogger Spotlight (if my memory is right). I like her vintage dresses and the style of photography. She got this cutie pixie hair which suits her very well.

back with a vengeance

I had been sick for four days straight. I was a little unstable by the next day, that's why I stopped making weekly challenges since my body can't handle the stress. But now, that I have gained back my strength, I have to start making weekly challenges! Well, since we have this weight loss challenge, I will align my goals to this challenge. I started yesterday and I will continue it until this week ends. For this week, below are my challenges:

  1. Drink Herbalife Smoothie and follow strictly my program.
  2. No sweets, bread and sodas.
  3. Drink more water at least 2 ltrs a day.
  4. Pilates for Beginner this week
This is all for now, I don't want to stretch myself too much. I should take things slow. right?

River and Agutayan Adventure

Chinese New Year is a special holiday in our country so it was a rest day for us working six days a week. We had planned to have an adventure during that holiday break. We went to Jasaan, to my hometown and invited some good friends in our house to sleep overnight since we planned to visit the little island, Agutayan early in the morning. When we arrived at home, we have decided to buy food for our dinner and meals for the next day, of course we need energy boosters!

We went to Jasaan Market which is just 15-20 mins away from our home to buy our supplies. As we passed along the bridge connecting Jasaan and another baranggay, they saw Kabulig River and they're amazed by its beauty. So I told them we can visit the river since it's just a meters away from the market. When I said that, they got pretty excited. After our grocery and snack, we started hiking to the river and had fun chatting along the way.

When they saw the bamboo raft in which we called "balsa" in our area, they wanted a joyride. The raft is the main transportation of the people living in that area so that they can passed from one point to the other. At first, I was hesitant since I never had experienced to navigate the raft. When we saw kids navigating the raft, I thought, why not give it a try? We settled first in the raft and my friend jeah is our driver haha! We did it and it was the most gratifying experienced ever!

Let's proceed to the next adventure! By the next day, we woke up really early so that we can travel early going to Agutayan. I have known Agutayan Island since I was a kid and been there twice during my teenage years. It was just a small island in the middle of the ocean. The sand is not that crystal white like the Camiguin White Island. The island had one small tower for monitoring the area and for guarding the sanctuary. I think it was a 30-35 mins travel to the island. It had been a long time since I've been to the island, I'm quite excited as well.

We arrived safe in the island, we played and just had fun basking under the sun.

It was quite a long and tiring day but  we had so much fun.I am looking forward for more adventure this year!
